The Role
We're seeking talented React Native Developers at Junior, Medior, and Senior levels to join our network of developers working on cutting-edge mobile applications for our European clients. You'll work remotely from home in the Philippines with the flexibility to visit our Davao office when needed for collaboration or team events.
You'll be working with React Native to build beautiful, performant cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Whether you're augmenting a client's existing team or working on dedicated project delivery, this role offers the opportunity to expand your skills while working with international teams.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native. Your work will involve collaborating closely with product teams to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions, writing clean and maintainable code that follows mobile development best practices, and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. You'll work with native modules when needed, optimize app performance across both platforms, and contribute to technical discussions to help shape architectural decisions for the projects you work on.
What We're Looking For
We're hiring at multiple experience levels. Here's what we're looking for at each:
Junior React Native Developer (0-2 years experience)
Basic proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of React fundamentals
Familiarity with React Native and mobile development concepts
Understanding of basic mobile app architecture and component patterns
Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship
Basic knowledge of Git version control
Strong problem-solving attitude and eagerness to tackle challenges
Medior React Native Developer (2-5 years experience)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and proven experience building React Native applications
Solid understanding of React Native ecosystem, libraries, and best practices
Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX, etc.)
Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern backend integration
Understanding of native iOS and Android development concepts
Comfortable with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
Ability to work independently on features with minimal supervision
Experience working in an agile environment
Senior React Native Developer (5+ years experience)
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and extensive React Native experience
Deep understanding of React Native architecture and ability to make sound technical decisions
Experience with native module development and platform-specific implementations
Proven track record of delivering complex cross-platform mobile applications
Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
Strong knowledge of performance optimization, app architecture, and mobile best practices
Ability to lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for mobile apps
All Levels: Strong English communication skills are required as you'll be working with international teams. We value developers who are self-motivated, take ownership of their work, and are passionate about staying current with mobile development trends and technologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with Expo or other React Native frameworks, knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development, familiarity with GraphQL and modern API patterns, experience with automated testing (Jest, Detox, etc.), contributions to open-source projects, experience with app store deployment and release management, and experience working with distributed teams across different time zones would all be valuable additions to your profile.
